Argentina’s renewable push: is the country back on the radar for
international investors?
The presentation will cover the97 MW Vientos Los Hércules wind park
and the 100 MW PV parks La Puna and Altiplano, all financed
by DEG in Argentina, together with an outlook on project finance,
renewables, and green hydrogen in the country.

3:50 – 4:10 PM (CEST) BRAZIL: Giga Park Sergipe & Green Mega Hub
Brazil advancing its role as a cornerstone in the international green hydrogen
and green steel value chain.
Giga Park Sergipe is a 5.4 GW green hydrogen production facility to be
developed in a Special Economic Zone (ZPE) with direct access to the
Port of Sergipe. In partnership with Vale, Green Energy Park is also
advancing plans for a Green Mega Hub in Brazil. The hub would combine
Vale’s leadership in direct reduction pellets with GEP’s hydrogen platform
to produce Hot Briquetted Iron (HBI) for European steelmakers.

4:10 – 4:30 PM (CEST) CHILE: Green Ammonia HNH Project
Chile moving its green energy strategy ahead amid global market momentum
and domestic permitting challenges.
HNH Project is Chile’s largest foreign investment to date (USD 11 billion),
focused on green hydrogen and ammonia production in Magallanes.
It includes 5,4 GW of wind power, electrolyzer, ammonia plant and a port terminal.
The Environmental Impact Assessment was filed in July 2024.
