Dr Johannes Oehlschläger advises and represents national and international companies across all sectors on all matters relating to individual and collective labour law. His work focuses in particular on large-scale restructuring and transformation projects. A key focus of his work is the associated negotiations on reconciliation of interests, social plans and works agreements, including before conciliation boards. Johannes Oehlschläger also has extensive experience in the field of international employment law and labour migration law.
Another key focus of his work is advising managing directors and board members.
Johannes Oehlschläger is the author of numerous specialist publications. He also acts as a lecturer, including as part of specialist solicitor training programmes.
Johannes Oehlschläger has been repeatedly listed in law firm directories in the field of employment law.
Johannes Oehlschläger has been a solicitor at Oppenhoff since 2026. He studied law at the University of Passau. Before joining Oppenhoff, Johannes Oehlschläger practised as a solicitor at several leading international law firms, as well as at a commercial law firm specialising in employment law.
He is a member of the German Bar Association (DAV) and the Munich Bar Association.

Oppenhoff continues to expand its employment law team at its Munich office. Effective July 1, 2026, Dr. Johannes Oehlschläger will join the team as counsel. He is moving from Seitz to Oppenhoff. A further expansion of the team with a Senior Associate is planned for later this summer.
