New Counsel: Oppenhoff builds employment law team in Munich

Oppenhoff continues to expand its employment law team at its Munich office. Effective July 1, 2026, Dr. Johannes Oehlschläger will join the team as counsel. He is moving from Seitz to Oppenhoff. A further expansion of the team with a Senior Associate is planned for later this summer.

Dr. Johannes Oehlschläger advises national and international companies on all matters of individual and collective labor law. A particular focus of his practice is providing labor law support for restructuring and transformation projects, as well as negotiating works agreements, reconciliation of interests, and social plans. In addition, he has extensive experience in international labor law, employment migration law, and the labor law aspects of transactions.

Oppenhoff’s employment law team provides comprehensive advice to national and international companies on all aspects of individual and collective employment law. Key areas of focus include, in particular, restructurings and transformations, M&A transactions, compliance, compensation systems, and representation in labor court proceedings. The team is led by Jörn Kuhn. Working closely with the Venture Capital, Private Equity and M&A teams, the practice also advises national and international clients on complex transactions and their employment law implementation.
