Oppenhoff advises MRH Trowe-Group on the acquisition of Lurse AG

Oppenhoff advised Mesterheide Rockel Hirz Trowe AG Holding, the holding company of a leading industrial insurance broker in Germany, on the acquisition of Lurse AG. The sellers Matthias Edelmann and Birgit Horak will both join the group of shareholders of MRH Trowe-Group. Matthias Edelmann will also serve as a member of the management board of Mesterheide Rockel Hirz Trowe AG Holding. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.

Lurse AG, headquartered in Paderborn/Salzkotten, is a leading HR strategy consultancy and HR and bAV solutions provider with a focus on compensation, pensions and talents.

Mesterheide Rockel Hirz Trowe AG Holding is part of the MRH Trowe-Group with its registered seat in Frankfurt am Main. It is one of Germany’s ten largest industrial insurance brokers. MRH Trowe-Group offers extensive expertise in all areas of insurance to industrial and commercial customers, institutions as well as affluent private customers.

The Oppenhoff team led by Dr. Markus Rasner included Till Liebau, Moritz Schmitz (all M&A), Dr. Simon Spangler, Renée Eckruth (both antitrust law), Anja Dombrowsky, Jennifer Bold (both Labour Law), Dr. Wolfgang Kotzur (Finance) and Dr. Gunnar Knorr (Tax).

Oppenhoff continuously advises MRH Trowe-Group on transactions, most recently on the minority investment by private equity investor AnaCap Financial Partners and on a debt financing from Bain Capital Credit.
