Johannes Peter Kaesbach has been a lawyer at Oppenhoff since 2020. He studied law at the University of Cologne, with a focus on corporate law. Prior to his legal training he initially worked as a research assistant in the corporate/M&A department of the law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Cologne, as well as for a commercial law firm in Düsseldorf, later in the corporate law department of Oppenhoff. Johannes Peter Kaesbach's legal training included internships in the employment law department of the law firm Loschelder and in the German Embassy in Pretoria, South Africa. He is a doctoral student at the University of Cologne.
Johannes Peter Kaesbach advises and represents national and international companies on all areas of individual and collective employment law. His work includes, in particular, the drafting, implementation and termination of employment and service agreements. Further focuses of his work are the provision of advice on shop constitutional matters and accompanying negotiations between works councils and employers. He also has particular experience in employment law compliance and anti-discrimination law, for example on diversity topics.
