Oppenhoff recruits experienced trade, distribution & logistics team led by Dr Christiane Zedelius

Oppenhoff is strengthening its new Munich office, due to open on 1 May 2026, with an experienced team specialising in trade, distribution and logistics led by Dr Christiane Zedelius.

On 1 May 2026, Dr Christiane Zedelius will join Oppenhoff as a partner, alongside Christine Seiz as counsel and Sarah Liomin as senior associate, moving from Dentons’ Munich office. The team will be complemented by Dr Christiane Berr, who is also joining the firm as a partner and will be based at the Cologne office.

Firm spokesperson Jörn Kuhn: “With Dr Christiane Zedelius’s team, we are gaining a well-established unit with proven expertise across complex distribution and supply chains. This addition is a key building block for the development of our Munich office, strengthens our advisory services in a strategically central area and, at the same time, underlines our full-service approach.”

Dr Christiane Zedelius advises companies, particularly in the consumer and luxury goods industries, on the development of international distribution systems and the drafting of franchise, licence and agency agreements across the entire supply chain, and has an excellent network within the industry and region. “I am very much looking forward to helping build up the Munich office,” says Zedelius. “The firm offers an excellent platform for my team and me to provide clients with comprehensive support on international distribution and supply structures in future and to assist them in implementing complex projects.”

Dr Christiane Berr has many years of experience in the field of distribution and logistics law. She assists companies in establishing and restructuring their distribution systems, with a particular focus on franchise, agency and dealer models. In the field of logistics, Christiane Berr primarily advises on the drafting of transport, warehousing and other logistics agreements, including cross-border arrangements.

Christine Seiz provides comprehensive advice to companies on the drafting and negotiation of complex supply, development and licence agreements, as well as on the establishment of distribution and platform models. Another focus of her work lies in supporting IP-related transactions and advising on competition law and regulatory issues.

Sarah Liomin works primarily in the areas of trade and distribution law. Among other things, she supports the establishment of international distribution systems, encompassing both selective distribution systems for luxury brands and complex international franchise systems. Sarah Liomin also advises companies on competition law and the protection of intellectual property rights.

With this new team, Oppenhoff is strategically expanding its presence and the depth of its advisory services. Clients will benefit in future from specialised expertise and networking, as well as even more closely integrated support on complex commercial law issues, including in collaboration with our experts at our other offices.

We will announce further new appointments as part of the expansion of the Munich office in the coming weeks. The latest information is also available at: Oppenhoff opens office in Munich.
