Oppenhoff provided comprehensive legal advice to Pilatus Flugzeugwerke AG on the acquisition of Air Alliance GmbH.
The transaction involved the acquisition of Air Alliance GmbH, an established provider of sales and maintenance services for Pilatus aircraft in Europe. The scope of the transaction also included the operational premises at Siegerland Airport.
Pilatus Flugzeugwerke AG, based in Stans (Switzerland), is an internationally active manufacturer of propeller-driven aircraft and business jets and ranks among the leading companies in this segment.
Air Alliance is a long-standing sales partner of Pilatus and, in addition to selling aircraft, offers comprehensive maintenance and servicing as well as operating a flight school. Furthermore, its service portfolio also includes commercial flight operations under an Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC).
As part of the acquisition, all approximately 120 employees will be retained. With this integration, Pilatus is strengthening its market presence in Europe and further expanding its service and sales structures.
