Oppenhoff advises VHV on the acquisition of InterEurope AG

Oppenhoff has advised VHV Holding AG on the acquisition of InterEurope AG from the private equity fund Elvaston Capital. InterEurope AG continues to exist as an independent enterprise within the VHV Group at the company’s headquarters in Düsseldorf. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price. 

InterEurope AG is an independent owner-managed service company which handles, in particular, damage claims within the green card system, i.e. motor vehicle accidents abroad as well as motor vehicle damage caused by foreigners in Germany, on behalf of insurance companies. It also regulates transport and collision damage claims throughout Europe, as well as recourse claims and claims to legal protection worldwide.

VHV Holding AG, Hanover, as part of the VHV Group, is responsible for the group’s strategic development and orientation. With the acquisition of InterEurope AG, the VHV Group is extending its activities in the field of insurance-related services.
