Latin America Association: Alf Baars Elected to the LAV Executive Committee
Alf Baars was elected to the association’s executive committee at the LAV general meeting.
The Latin America Association (LAV) is the leading network for promoting economic, political, and social relations between Germany, Latin America, and the Caribbean. For more than 100 years, the association has been connecting companies, institutions, and prominent figures from various sectors, supporting them in their activities in the region with expertise, events, and a strong international network.
Election to the LAV Executive Committee
Alf Baars has been actively involved in the German-Latin American sphere for many years. His election to the LAV Executive Board underscores this commitment and his international network. In his new role, he will play an even more active part in shaping the association’s work and contribute his experience in a targeted manner.
Latin America is one of the most dynamic and economically significant regions in the world. Especially in geopolitically challenging times, Latin American economies are becoming increasingly important to Germany and Europe as strategically relevant and reliable economic partners.
