BMV Group: Oppenhoff advises on the acquisition of the Flosbach Group

Oppenhoff provided comprehensive legal advice to the BMV Group on the acquisition of the Flosbach Group as part of an asset deal.

The Flosbach Group operates a specialist retailer for roofing and facade building materials at seven locations in North Rhine-Westphalia. The company employs over 100 people and generates annual sales of approximately €50 million.

With this acquisition by the BMV Group's subsidiary, Dachdeckerbedarf Helmut von den Hoff GmbH & Co. KG, the latter is sustainably expanding its market position as one of the largest specialist roofing retailers in North Rhine-Westphalia.

As part of the transaction, the commercial properties at the Remscheid, Marienheide and Ruppichteroth locations were also acquired.

BMV - DIE Baustoff-Allianz GmbH & Co. KG, based in Hamburg, is an association of medium-sized specialist building materials and roofing retailers. It maintains and establishes partnerships with national and regional suppliers, manages the ‘MEISTERKLASSE – Die PROFIMARKE fürs Bauhandwerk’ (MEISTERKLASSE – The PROFESSIONAL BRAND for the building trade) brand, organises inter-company training and supports its shareholders in many other areas. The shareholders of the BMV Group operate throughout Germany.

Oppenhoff has advised the BMV Group on numerous transactions and restructurings, including the acquisition and restructuring of the von Hoff Group and the accession of new shareholders to the BMV Group.
