Markus Rasner is a partner at Oppenhoff. Prior to joining Oppenhoff he worked as a lawyer and partner at leading national and international law firms in Frankfurt am Main. In 2008/09 he worked as foreign secondee for one of the leading law firms in Singapore. He studied law at the Universities of Giessen and Munster and earned his doctorate at Giessen University in 2004 with a dissertation on public takeover law.

Markus Rasner specializes in advice on domestic and cross-border M&A and private equity transactions. For more than 15 years he has advised entrepreneurs, family offices, financial investors and both national and international enterprises on their M&A projects. He also has extensive experience in advising Asian investors. Markus Rasner additionally advises on distressed M&A transactions and complex corporate law matters.
