Tim Güther

Experience

Tim Güther advises and represents national and international clients in M&A and private equity transactions, corporate restructuring, and other matters relating to company law and general commercial law. His practice focuses in particular on providing legal support to listed and internationally active groups, as well as to medium-sized German companies across various sectors, including, in particular, financial institutions and companies in the automotive, pharmaceutical and property sectors. Another key focus of his work is litigation in corporate law disputes. Tim Güther also has experience in the area of fund structuring and fund investments.

 

Education

Tim Güther has been a solicitor at Oppenhoff since 2026. Before joining Oppenhoff, he practised as a solicitor at a renowned commercial law firm in Munich and worked as an in-house counsel for one of Europe’s leading independent asset managers. He studied law at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. As part of his legal training, Tim Güther undertook placements in the areas of tax and company law, amongst others, and worked at a renowned, multidisciplinary law firm in Munich.
