Sebastian Zeeck has been a partner at Oppenhoff since 2021. He studied law in Hamburg, Munich, Münster and Cambridge (UK) and wrote his dissertation on international avoidance law in insolvency under Prof. Dr. Dres. h.c. mult. Ulrich Drobnig, M.C.L. (Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law) in Hamburg. He also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation. Before joining Oppenhoff, he was a partner in a major international law firm for many years. Prior to that, Sebastian Zeeck was deputy head of the staff law department of a large, internationally renowned trading group and therefore has additional experience as an in-house counsel.
He has passed examinations in insolvency law, commercial and corporate law, and tax law. For many years, he was a lecturer in the course element "International Insolvency Law" of the German Lawyers' Institute DAI. He is also a certified consultant for restructuring.
