Experience

Sara-Alexandra Raitner advises and represents companies and public bodies on various aspects of competition and state aid law. Her work focuses in particular on the implementation and further development of competition law compliance frameworks, as well as advising grant providers and recipients on all matters relating to state aid law. Sara-Alexandra Raitner also has experience in public procurement law and all areas of European law.

 

Education

Sara-Alexandra Raitner Oppenhoff joined the firm as a solicitor in 2026. Her practice focuses on European law, in particular European competition law, antitrust law and state aid law. She gained practical experience as a research assistant at firms including Bird & Bird, where she worked on public procurement law, and Dentons, where she specialised in antitrust and state aid law. Prior to this, she was a research assistant at the Chair of European and International Law in Speyer, where she co-organised conferences on antitrust and state aid law. She is currently working on her PhD on a topic relating to European law. She furthered her expertise in European law during a research stay in Brussels. She completed her law degree at LMU Munich.
