Experience

Martin Bialluch advises extensively in all areas of corporate and company law as well as in insolvency and restructuring. An additional focus of his work is trusts and succession law, in particular succession planning for private individuals and entrepreneurial families, as well as the counselling of trusts. Martin Bialluch has experience in international private and procedural law and in the handling of complex cross-border matters.

 

Education

Martin Bialluch has been a lawyer at Oppenhoff since 2023. He studied law at the University of Kiel and at Harvard Law School in the USA (Master of Laws).

He wrote his dissertation on the topic “Spill-over effects in corporate law” at the University of Freiburg under Prof. Dr. Jan Lieder, LL.M. (Harvard). During his legal internship, Martin Bialluch worked at inter alia the Hanseatic Stock Exchange, a large American law firm specialised in litigation and at a Notary’s office.

Before joining Oppenhoff, he was a research assistant for Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Reinhard Zimmermann at the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Private Law in Hamburg, and he also completed a three-month research stay at the Sorbonne University (Paris).

Martin Bialluch is (co-)author of numerous specialist publications and co-editor of a collection of decisions on commercial and corporate law. He is a member of the German-American Lawyers‘ Association (DAJV) and on the Board of the Harvard Club Hamburg.
