Jan Kaminski provides comprehensive advice on M&A and general matters of company law.
A particular focus of his work is advising medium-sized business owners on the sale of their companies. In addition, he advises financial investors, in particular private equity funds, and strategic investors on domestic and international transactions of all sizes. He also assists private equity funds with corporate structuring issues and ongoing corporate governance, as well as on regulatory matters and anti-money laundering issues.
Another key area of his practice is advising on domestic and cross-border joint ventures, primarily in the aviation and defence industries.
He also handles complex shareholder disputes, including providing strategic advice, devising amicable solutions, and enforcing shareholders’ rights both in and out of court.
In addition, he advises borrowers and lenders on various forms of debt financing, particularly in the area of corporate finance.
Jan Kaminski also acts as a notary’s deputy and has particular experience in drafting and notarising corporate law transactions.
Jan Kaminski joined Oppenhoff in 2022. He studied law at Johann Wolfgang von Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. In the course of his judicial preparation service (Referendariat) he worked, inter alia, for an international law firm in corporate/restructuring.
