Hans-Joachim Otto has been a partner, notary and lawyer at Oppenhoff since 2021. He studied law and economics at the Universities of Munich, Heidelberg and Frankfurt. Hans-Joachim Otto has been admitted to the bar as a lawyer since 1984, as a notary since 2000. He has also been active in German politics, amongst other things as Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economics and Technology (BMWi) and as Federal Government Coordinator for the Maritime Sector. He was a member of the FDP Party in the German Bundestag for 20 years. Most recently, he worked as a lawyer and notary at GSK Stockmann.
