Experience

Christine Seiz provides comprehensive advice to companies in Commercial law on the drafting and negotiation of complex supply, development and licence agreements, as well as on the development of distribution and platform models (B2B and B2C). In this context, she has developed particular expertise in the drafting and evaluation of standard form contracts (general terms and conditions).

Another key focus of her work is advising on IP-related transactions, contractual IP-clauses and on competition law and regulatory issues.

Her clients primarily include companies in the life sciences (pharmaceuticals and biotechnology), consumer goods and information technology.

She is a member of the German Association for Industrial Property and Copyright (GRUR e.V.) and of women in ip e.V.

Education

Christine Seiz has been a Counsel at Oppenhoff since May 2026. She studied law at the University of Frankfurt am Main and completed her legal training in Frankfurt am Main. In 2012, she obtained an LL.M. in Medical Law from Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf.

From 2013 and again from 2016 to 2026, she worked as a lawyer at an international law firm in Frankfurt am Main, becoming a counsel in 2022. In 2014 and 2015, she worked as an in-house lawyer at a research institute.
