Annabelle Marceau

Experience

Annabelle Marceau advises and represents German and foreign companies on all questions of individually and collectively bargained employment law. She specialises in handling the employment law aspects of corporate reorganisations through the relocation of functional divisions and change of organisational structures. Annabelle Marceau additionally advises on the drafting, implementation and termination of employment contracts and service agreements. She also advises employers before the labour courts.

A further focus of her work is company codetermination, in particular regarding the introduction of IT systems and digital transformation processes. Annabelle Marceau also advises extensively on personnel deployment matters (deployment of temporary workers, freelancers, etc.).

Annabelle Marceau is a member of the Retails and Consumer Goods sector group.

 

Education

Annabelle Marceau has been a lawyer at Oppenhoff since 2018. Prior thereto, from 2017 to 2018, she was in-house counsel in the personnel department of a subsidiary of Deutsche Post AG. She studied law at the University of Trier, with a focus on employment and social law. During her legal internship, she worked at Beiten Burkhardt in Brussels, inter alia. Annabelle Marceau has been a specialist lawyer for employment law since 2020.

Annabelle Marceau is a member of the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA), the German Bar Association (DAV), the Cologne Bar Association (KAV) and the Employment Law Working Group of the German Bar Association.
