Oppenhoff to become strategic partner of the Corporate Law Clinic Cologne
Oppenhoff is entering into a strategic partnership with the Corporate Law Clinic e.V. (CLC). The collaboration will be supervised by Dr. Günter Seulen and Dr. Philipp Heinrichs, both partners in the field of corporate law/M&A. Dr. Philipp Heinrichs also represents the law firm as a member of the CLC's advisory board.
The Corporate Law Clinic e.V. is a student initiative under the academic patronage of Prof. Dr. Jens Koch (University of Cologne), which specialises in providing free legal advice to start-ups and founders. Its aim is to enable students to gain practical experience during their studies, thereby promoting innovative ideas and at the same time creating a space for an exchange of views between students and lawyers.
The work of the CLC is supported by motivated students, doctoral candidates and trainee lawyers who are educated and trained by experienced lawyers from the region.
With this partnership, Oppenhoff is underlining its commitment to promoting innovation and training the next generation of lawyers: "We are delighted to be part of this great initiative and to provide both professional and personal advice to the committed members of the CLC," explains Dr. Philipp Heinrichs. "The combination of innovative ideas, legal excellence and the mutual exchange of views between students and experienced lawyers is unique."
Elias Bonni, first Chairman of the CLC, is also delighted: "We are pleased to have Oppenhoff as a strategic partner and are very much looking forward to working with one of Germany’s leading independent commercial law firms."
In addition to providing support in advisory projects, Oppenhoff will promote the work of the CLC through training events and social events.
