Oppenhoff gains Dr. Martin Nebeling as partner for its employment law practice
Oppenhoff continues to expand its employment law practice and welcomes Dr. Martin Nebeling as a new partner at its Cologne office, effective November 1, 2025. He is joining from Bird & Bird, where he played a key role in establishing the German and international employment law team.
Martin Nebeling advises national and international clients on all aspects of individual and collective labor law. A particular focus of his work is providing labor law support for large-scale transactions, protecting confidential information and trade secrets, and advising on social plan and collective bargaining agreement negotiations.

Martin Nebeling studied law at the Universities of Bonn and Münster and received his doctorate from the University of Munich. He has been a specialist lawyer for labor law since 2002.
Oppenhoff's labor law team, consisting of around 16 members, provides comprehensive advice to companies on restructuring and reorganization, accompanies transformation processes, and supports clients in labor law issues in the context of M&A transactions, compliance issues, and all areas of company pension law.
