Oppenhoff & Partner has advised Frankfurt-based private equity fund Finatem on its acquisition of the Food & Service Group, Mülheim a.d. Ruhr. Oppenhoff’s services comprised, inter alia, the legal and tax due diligence as well as the legal and tax structuring of the transaction.
Food & Service Group was founded in 1960 as a family business and is a leading regional food wholesale distributor for restaurants and fast food providers. The company distributes its own prize-winning sausage and meat products as well as potato products and a broad range of complimentary articles. Currently the company markets about 4,000 food and non-food products. Finatem took over the company for its next expansion phase.
