Experience

Sarah Zingel-Hagemann advises and represents national and international companies on civil, commercial and economic law issues. Her work includes reviewing and drafting contracts, out-of-court dispute resolution and representing clients before the state courts and arbitration tribunals. Sarah Zingel-Hagemann has particular experience in enforcing and defending antitrust damages claims and defending against mass lawsuits concerning data protection law. She focuses on the automotive industry and plant and mechanical engineering.

 

Education

Sarah Zingel-Hagemann joined Oppenhoff as an associate in 2023. She studied law at the University of Cologne and obtained two LL.M. degrees from Maastricht University, in Corporate and Commercial Law and Forensics and Criminology. During her studies, she worked as a research assistant in real estate law at a medium-sized law firm in Cologne, subsequently at Oppenhoff in litigation and arbitration as well as in antitrust law. During her legal training, Sarah Zingel-Hagemann completed internships at the New York Chamber of Commerce, at Oppenhoff in the areas of litigation and arbitration as well as antitrust law, and at Advant Beiten in Brussels in the areas of antitrust and state aid law.
As part of two secondments, Sarah Zingel-Hagemann worked in the legal departments of two plant and mechanical engineering companies in 2024/2025.
