Frederike Mebus advises and represents national and international clients on all matters of public commercial law, including foreign trade law and public procurement law. Her work focuses in particular on the provision of legal support during administrative proceedings and administrative court proceedings.

Education

Frederike Mebus has been a lawyer at Oppenhoff since 2025. She initially studied law at the University of Cologne and then at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, and worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Public Law and International Law under Prof. Markus Krajewski in Erlangen. During her legal training, Frederike Mebus’ internships included placements at an international commercial law firm in Munich and at the Permanent Representation of the Federal Republic of Germany to the European Union in Brussels, where she dealt with issues relating to the EU's common foreign and security policy.
