Oppenhoff comprehensively advises Ford on cooperation agreement with Marelli

Japanese-Italian Marelli Corporation has announced to produce electric drives in Cologne. Production is scheduled to start in the first half of 2021. To this end, Marelli is leasing, among other things, a production facility on the premises of Ford-Werke GmbH, a subsidiary of Motor Company, and will be receiving additional support from Ford in certain areas. Ford employees are likely to benefit from the fact that Marelli is planning to initially create 160 new jobs at the Cologne site.

The independent commercial law firm Oppenhoff advised Ford on the complex cooperation agreements with Marelli. The Oppenhoff team led by Dr. Marc Hilber (Commercial) included Marc Alexander Häger, Marvin Rochner (both Real Estate Law), Dr. Alexander Willemsen and Alexandra Groth (both Labour Law).
