Oppenhoff appoints first Counsel from within the firm
Effective 1 July 2026, Oppenhoff is appointing its first Counsel from within the firm. The Counsel position was introduced on 1 January 2026 as part of the firm’s enhanced career structure. Marco Degginger, Caterina Hanke and Annabelle Marceau have been appointed as Counsel.

Counsel
Marco Degginger:
Marco Degginger advises national and international companies on IT and data law matters. His practice focuses in particular on drafting contracts in the areas of data protection, cloud computing and software projects. He also has experience in copyright and competition law.
Caterina Hanke:
Caterina Hanke advises and represents companies from a wide range of industries in commercial disputes. She has many years of experience in examining and analysing complex and extensive cases. Her practice focuses in particular on the enforcement and defence of damages claims, as well as representation in arbitration proceedings. As founder and head of the firm’s “Sport, Gaming and Entertainment” initiative, she also advises clients from these sectors on legal issues.
Annabelle Marceau:
Annabelle Marceau advises and represents German and international companies on all aspects of individual and collective employment law. A particular focus of her practice is the employment law support of restructuring and transformation projects. She also advises extensively on company codetermination matters, particularly in connection with digital transformation processes and the use of artificial intelligence.
