König + Neurath AG: Self-administration proceedings successfully concluded – business continuity plan implemented
König + Neurath AG has successfully completed its self-administration proceedings and laid the groundwork for the company’s long-term continuation.
König + Neurath AG, a leading German manufacturer of office and contract furniture, has successfully completed its self-administration proceedings. Following the court’s approval of the insolvency plan and the termination of the proceedings, the company’s continued operation is now secured.
As part of a structured restructuring and investor process, a viable solution was implemented to stabilize and sustainably restructure the company. The restructuring team developed an insolvency plan that ensures the company’s continued operation. As a result, it was possible to preserve the vast majority of positions at König + Neurath AG, saving approximately 700 jobs.
The process was managed by an experienced restructuring team. Marion Rodine (Runkel Rechtsanwälte) and Prof. Dr. Nefail Berjasevic (Oppenhoff) took the lead as general representatives during the self-administration process. Dr. Andreas Kleinschmidt (White & Case) served as administrator (Sachwalter) during the proceedings. Luther advised the company on labor law matters. Business management support was provided by hahn,consultants.
