IT & Data Law: Dr. Jürgen Hartung Takes Over as Head of the Practice Group

Dr. Jürgen Hartung will take over as head of the IT & Data Law Practice Group effective 1 July 2026. He succeeds Dr. Marc Hilber, who previously headed the practice group and will, going forward, jointly lead the Aerospace & Defence Practice Group together with Dr. Regina Engelstädter.

Jürgen Hartung has many years of experience advising companies on data, cyber and IT law. His practice focuses in particular on data protection matters, advising on new regulations governing data use, and providing legal support in connection with cyberattacks. In addition, he advises companies on the drafting and negotiation of IT contracts on both the customer and supplier side.
