Business opportunities for German SMEs with focus on Baden-Württemberg

The transition of the energy sector from conventional energy sources to renewable energies has become a global issue and has also been on the business and political agenda in Latin America for several years. Recently, the focus has increasingly been on the promotion and development of green hydrogen.

There are good business opportunities for German and European companies. German SMEs are both potential customers and innovators of new hydrogen technologies. However, what concrete opportunities exist for SMEs has been little examined and discussed to date. This joint Business Forum of the Ministry of Energy of Chile as well as of Baden-Württemberg International and Oppenhoff will examine the current developments and new trends of this increasingly important economic sector, with a focus on green hydrogen. We will elaborate on Chile's goals for promoting green hydrogen. Additionally, experts will provide you with an assessment of the legal, regulatory and business framework conditions for realising the national green hydrogen strategy presented by the Chilean Government in September 2020. We will also consider the opportunities this presents for investors and companies from Germany, also and especially for SMEs with a focus on Baden-Württemberg.

The face-to-face part of the event will take place at Literaturhaus Stuttgart, Breitscheidstraße 4, 70174 Stuttgart. The event is being held in the room ”Großer Saal“.
