Oppenhoff & Partner moves into new office premises in HafenCity Hamburg

In December, the Hamburg office of the independent German commercial law firm Oppenhoff & Partner moved into its new office premises in HafenCity: Am Sandtorkai 74 – directly opposite the Elbphilharmonie. From here, a team now comprising seven lawyers advises the firm’s clients in and from the region of northern Germany.

The choice of new site was a conscious decision: “The HafenCity combines a spirit of tradition and pioneering – here, we are a part of the dynamic economic life“, commented Dr. Gilbert Wurth, spokesman for Oppenhoff & Partner.

The law firm advises enterprises and entrepreneurs at home and abroad on all areas of commercial law. Gilbert Wurth stated: “Our full-service expertise in combination with our in-depth knowledge of the industry provides the best solutions for the challenges also having to be faced by our clients in the North.”

In addition to the team led by renowned procurement lawyer Prof. Dr. Heiko Höfler, a further lawyer now advising from the Hamburg office is former ThyssenKrupp in-house counsel Dr. Angela Busche on the IT and data protection law team. Another focus is family-run enterprises and matters of succession handled by lead partners Dr. Harald Gesell and Dr. Axel Wenzel. Gilbert Wurth commented: “We want to expand rapidly.”

Oppenhoff & Partner currently has about 75 lawyers advising from offices in Frankfurt, Hamburg and Cologne. The law firm is one of the most distinguished independent addresses on the German legal advice market.
