Oppenhoff & Partner advises Manuka Health New Zealand on the acquisition of Neuseelandhaus GmbH
Oppenhoff & Partner has advised the New Zealand company Manuka Health New Zealand Limited, the market-leading producer of manuka honey and honey-based health and beauty products, on the acquisition of all shares in the German honey specialist dealer Neuseelandhaus GmbH (Bergkamen).
Manuka honey is a blossom honey made by bees in New Zealand from the nectar of the manuka plant. Neuseelandhaus is the largest dealer of manuka products in Central Europe.
Besides the New Zealand law firm Russell McVeagh (Auckland), Oppenhoff was responsible for the German legal aspects of the transaction (lead partner Alf Baars, corporate law/M&A).
