Oppenhoff advises Pohl Group on the sale of Systea Pohl GmbH

Oppenhoff has advised the Pohl Group on the complete sale of its subsidiary Systea Pohl GmbH to the French Etanco Group. Systea will continue to operate as an independent company.

Systea, which is based in Henstedt-Ulzburg near Hamburg, was founded in 1974. The company is a leading supplier of stainless steel and aluminium substructures for suspended rear-ventilated facades. Systea distributes its systems and products worldwide.

The Etanco Group was founded in 1952 and develops and produces high-quality fastening systems for the complete outer shell of buildings in five market segments. With this acquisition, the group is expanding its facade technology division, with which it is already successfully active with facade plugs, insulation fixings, steel anchors, injection anchors, aluminium substructure systems and panel anchors for suspended rear-ventilated facades.

The Oppenhoff team, led by Dr. Peter Etzbach (M&A), comprised Dr. Stefanie Minzenmay, Marvin Rochner (both real estate), Dr. Marc Hilber (IT&C), Marc Krischer, Dr. Gunnar Knorr (both tax), Dr. Johannes Janning, Sebastian Gutmann (both M&A) and Dr. Daniel Dohrn (antitrust).

The industrials sector group at Oppenhoff regularly advises leading companies from the metal and electrical industries as well as conglomerates on the challenges faced by them through globalisation and digitisation, most recently for example MGS Manufacturing on the acquisition of Formteknik.
