Patrick Schwarze has been a lawyer at Oppenhoff since 2019. He studied law at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena, with a focus on German and European commercial law. During his legal training, Patrick Schwarze worked inter alia for Noerr LLP in Moscow (Russia) in the field of international commercial law. Before transferring to Oppenhoff & Partner, he was a lawyer from 2016 to 2018 at Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH in the field of contract, commercial and distribution law. As part of a nine-month secondment in 2018, Patrick Schwarze also worked in the legal department of an international enterprise in the field of purchasing and IT law.

Experience
Patrick Schwarze advises and represents national and international clients in the field of IT law and data protection. In particular, he advises on IT project contracts and software contracts of all kinds. A further focus of his work is on data protection issues, including the permissibility of data processing, group-wide data protection, compliance concepts and social media. Patrick Schwarze also has experience in the field of e-commerce as well as commercial and distribution law.
