Anja Dombrowsky

Experience

Anja Dombrowsky comprehensively assists German and international companies and corporate groups in all areas of individual and collective employment law. She has been supporting her clients for many years in the implementation of their operative and strategic projects, in particular in employment law questions relating to reorganisations, outsourcing and the flexibilised deployment of personnel. A further focus of her many years of work is the provision of employment law advice during corporate transactions and transfers of businesses, including the accompanying negotiations with the works councils and unions as well as the conclusion of collective agreements, transfer agreements, compromises of interest and social plans. Anja Dombrowsky has extensive experience in extrajudicial and judicial disputes with employees, works councils and unions.

Anja Dombrowsky is a member of the Industrials sector group.

She has been listed for years amongst the best lawyers for employment law in Germany by the US American publishers Best Lawyers. The international law firm register Legal 500 lists her as a recommended lawyer for employment law. In the JUVE Handbook of Commercial law firms, Anja Dombrowsky is regularly named as a frequently recommended advisor, as well as being described by clients as "highly competent, extremely reliable with a pragmatic approach". 

 

Education

Anja Dombrowsky is a partner of the law firm of Oppenhoff. Before joining Oppenhoff she worked for Graf von Westphalen (2015-2017) and CMS Hasche Sigle (2001-2015) in Frankfurt am Main. she studied law at the Goethe University of Frankfurt am Main. Her legal training included internships in Darmstadt and San Diego, USA.

Anja Dombrowsky is a member of the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA), the German Bar Association (Deutscher Anwaltverein e.V. (DAV)) and the Frankfurt Bar Association (Frankfurt Anwaltverein e.V.).
