Oppenhoff & Partner advises Phönix/Strack Group on the sale of all shares to AXA Private Equity Germany

The shareholders of the Phönix/Strack Group are selling all shares in Präzisionsarmaturen Ostfalenpark Barleben GmbH and in Strack GmbH to an acquisition vehicle of AXA Private Equity Germany. Confidentiality was agreed on the purchase price.

With some 250 employees at the locations in Volksmarsen and Magdeburg, and in the foreign distribution companies in France and the USA, the Phönix/Strack Group records an annual turnover of around € 40 million. The Group develops and produces industrial fittings, above all high quality special valves used by customers worldwide from the energy, petrochemicals and chemicals industries. AXA Private Equity is a company of AXA Investment Managers and as a broad based investment company has a strong presence on the international private equity market. The company has offices in Paris, Frankfurt, London, Milan, Zürich, New York, Singapore and Vienna.
