Oppenhoff & Partner advises Bouwfonds in the acquisition of Kontrola

Bouwfonds Immobilienentwicklung GmbH, a company belonging to the Dutch Bouwfonds Group – the real estate subsidiary of the Rabo-Bank, has acquired the Cologne-based construction company Kontrola. Seller is the Dutch Grontmij Group. Kontrola primarily builds and sells residential homes and flats in the Cologne region. In the past year around 200 units were erected, representing a turnover of € 22 million. Kontrola will be integrated into Bouwfonds Immobilienentwicklung GmbH which currently has branches in Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Munich. Bouwfonds Deutschland also operates in the project management business in the same way as Kontrola and intends to achieve further growth on the German market.
