Aerospace & Defence
Be it as a general contractor, consortium partner or supplier of a decisive component: enterprises from the aerospace and defence branch must meet special requirements. In the defence industry, for example, the contract with the customer is crucial to the profitability of a procurement project. Negotiations with a public customer are complex for a variety of reasons, particularly in view of the latest stipulations from Brussels.
We are well acquainted with the current developments on a technical, political and legal level, and have an extensive network in the industry and in both national and international authorities. We have been and are involved in major projects: Tornado, Eurofighter, Herkules, Galileo, Eurospike, SysFla, A400M, A380, Dolphin submarines, UAV for the German Air Force, Dingo, Fennek, Boxer, Puma, the self-propelled howitzer 2000, AGM, the privatisation of state-owned enterprises in Greece and Spain as well as the main battle tank Leopard 2, amongst others.
Our range of advice in the field of aerospace and defence includes:
- Structuring of joint ventures, project companies or cooperations
- Strategy in bidding procedures and negotiations
- Drafting and negotiation of general terms and conditions and contractual models
- Public pricing law
- Public procurement law
