Our Firm

History

Our roots reach back to 1908. At that time our predecessor office was established in Cologne which later developed into one of the leading business law firms in Germany with a strong national and international practice. Today, we continue this tradition of successful legal advice to business enterprises and entrepreneurs across the entire spectrum of business and tax law with a team of lawyers who combine their particular expertise in the individual areas of law with a clear understanding of the overall picture.

International

Our clients benefit from the extensive international experience of our lawyers. Oppenhoff & Partner was founded by lawyers who have for a long time successfully worked together on many cross-border matters first in a German partnership and then in the German practice of one of the leading global law firms. The majority of our lawyers has spent time abroad, studied at foreign universities and obtained foreign degrees. As an independent firm we are used to work in international teams of lawyers from leading offices in different jurisdictions and address the specific needs of our clients with a seamless service. When required, we can easily establish such international teams, select the lawyers best suited for the matter, deal with possible conflicts of interest without pressure and devote our efforts fully to our clients.
