Career / Education 

Hans Jürgen Prinz has been Of Counsel at Oppenhoff & Partner since May 2008. In 1967 he began his career as a lawyer at Boden Oppenhoff & Schneider (later to become Oppenhoff & Rädler and Linklaters LLP) and was made partner in 1971. He studied law at the Universities of Munich and Cologne.
Hans Jürgen Prinz is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (Deutsche Vereinigung für Gewerblichen Rechtsschutz und Urheberrecht – GRUR), the German Institution of Arbitration (Deutsche Institution für Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit - DIS) and the IBA Section of Business Law/Section on Energy and Natural Resources. From1972 to 2010, he has been a member of the German Committee for UNICEF and was its deputy chairman for almost two decades.
