Alf Baars advises German and foreign enterprises and financial investors on national and cross-border company transactions, joint venture projects, restructurings and other corporate law issues. He specialises in M&A transactions involving Iberian and Latin American jurisdictions.

Career / Education

Alf Baars is a partner of the firm Oppenhoff & Partner. In 2006 he began his career at Linklaters LLP in Cologne. He studied law at the Universities of Bonn, Geneva and Munich and worked as a research associate at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg. He has collectively spent several years studying abroad, in particular in Latin America and Australia.
