Janina Zensus specialises in the provision of tax advice on (national and cross-border) corporate acquisitions and group structurings as well as on external audits, extrajudicial and judicial remedies. She is also specialised in the interfaces between German and Swedish law.

Career / Education

Janina Zensus has been a lawyer at Oppenhoff & Partner since 2011. She studied law at the University of Cologne and was awarded the Klaus Tipke Preis for extraordinary course achievement in the field of tax and balance sheet law during the academic year 2005-2006. During her vocational training she worked at the Institute for Tax Law of the University of Cologne. During her internship she worked at the law firm of Linklaters LLP in Düsseldorf and in Stockholm. Since 2010 Janina Zensus has been a lecturer at the Hochschule Fresenius in Cologne and teaches business, commercial and tax law, as well as media law together with the notary Dr. Benedikt Schmitz, Düren.
