Simon Liebich advises national and international enterprises on German and European antitrust law, in particular during German and European merger control proceedings, on antitrust issues in connection with distribution systems as well as during summary and abuse proceedings.

Career / Education

Simon Liebich has been a lawyer at Oppenhoff & Partner since 2011. He studied law at the Universities of Bayreuth and Bonn. At the University of Bayreuth he gained the additional qualification of business lawyer (Wirtschaftsjurist) (University of Bayreuth). Following his studies, he worked as a research assistant for Univ.-Prof. Dr. Christian Koenig at the Centre for European Integration Studies in Bonn. There, he earned his doctorate on a topic of public law. Simon Liebich spent the various stations of his legal internship at the Federal Cartel Office, at Redeker Sellner Dahs & Widmaier in Bonn as well as at Oppenhoff & Partner, where he worked on antitrust matters. Prior to joining Oppenhoff & Partner, Simon Liebich was an Associate in the antitrust department of DLA Piper in Cologne.
