UIA presents 3rd Business Law Forum on “Infrastructure Projects” in Barcelona, 16./17. September 2011

The UIA presents its Third Business Law Forum on “Infrastructure Projects”, which will take place in Barcelona and is organised with the support of the Barcelona Bar Association.

Despite occasional economic ups and downs, there is a continuous need for public and private infrastructure developments. However, the legal challenges faced by both public and private sector parties to infrastructure projects change rapidly. These changes result from sustainability requirements, environmental issues, constantly evolving EU legislation, political battles and many other factors.

This seminar will cover the main issues affecting cross-border infrastructure projects, not only from a civil law and regulatory point of view, but also from an economic perspective by involving industry and financial experts to explain the economic and finance aspects of infrastructure development projects.
